Tala Easton, known as Affanita, is an award-winning traditional Japanese tattoo artist in Bournemouth, specialising in ukiyo-e style, with focus on high-detail, effective composition and an expert use of texture. His art style spans from Japanese into black & grey, illustrative & fine line. Tattooing since 2017, recent projects range from Japanese folklore, such as kirin and yokai, to bespoke tattoos of franchises, such as Dark Souls and Berserk.

Tala values both the technical and artistic process of tattooing deeply. This care is shown in his work. All of Tala's flash sheets are painted by hand using Indian and sumi ink. Custom tattoos are designed to match the flow of the body and compliment surrounding tattoos. His commitment to artistry extends beyond tattoos into his collectable sofubi dragon toys, which are designed and modelled by him with great consideration.
