Chimera Studios is a tattoo studio in Bournemouth, UK, offering high-quality custom tattoos and pre-drawn flash. Our resident tattoo artists specialise in a wide-range of styles, including illustrative, Japanese, bold American traditional, fine line, blackwork and experimental art styles – bringing a broad spectrum of talent to help bring your tattoo ideas to life.
The Studio
Chimera Studios was founded in 2023, created with a focus on artistry, attention to detail, and a space that celebrates creativity. Our studio is decorated with artwork from across the tattoo industry and beyond, featuring a curated collection of art magazines, books, and visual inspiration available for clients to explore during their visit. The space hosts three resident tattoo artists and includes a comfortable reception area where refreshments are available for both clients and their guests.
Tala, James and Harry all offer flash tattoos that can be booked on the day. We also offer free walk in tattoo consultations, ideal for first-time clients or anyone who prefers to discuss ideas in person before booking. Merchandise, including art prints and t-shirts, is available to purchase in our reception area.
While we do our best to accommodate everyone, please note that the studio is not fully wheelchair accessible due to stairs. Each artist offers bespoke designs in a range of styles and sizes, from sticker flash tattoos up to large ongoing tattoo projects. Whether you’re looking for something bold, minimal, illustrative, or experimental, our artists work closely with you to create a tattoo that reflects your vision.
